I had planned on trying to break 1h15 for the HM in 13 weeks from now. However I just raced a 19.5km/12miles race and finished in 1h08 which already puts me on a 1h14 predicted finish for the HM.
My question is what can I expect to run in March? Is 1h12 too far fetched?
So you know I just got out of a realtively low volume (110km/70mile avg.) training block after intense trail running in the Alps over the summer. I did a weekly 2×2miles tempo run and a long run with some marathon pace parts in the second half.
