Suffered a medial tibial stress fracture back in August, reaggravated mid September by not taking enough time off. Got an MRI which showed bone stress but no fracture, but I was convinced it was worse as I was having deep bone pain from just walking. Took about the next 10 weeks off and stuck with strength training and elliptical with no pain at all. Started with a few easy, short runs a week and a half ago. No impact pain from running, but noticed slight soreness in the area if I press on the area (like mild shin splints). From anyone who has suffered a stress fracture in the same area is this something to be concerned about that will require more rest or should I continue with easy runs 2-3 times a week?
