First off, you’re thinking of Tyler day. He ran 9:28 and 4:20 in HS. He also won his state meet in those times, and was an individual qualifier for nxn, so it’s not like he hadn’t shown the ability to be pretty dang good.

Obviously there answer is Casey Clinger so far. He did want? Win the FAKE national championship twice? Real impressive! Win the state meet for a tiny state of 3M....with 6 divisions? Sad. Pathetic.
Meanwhile he's become one of the top freshman at NCAA. Impressive! Not only that, but top scorer on the first place losers! He has really blossomed under Ed Eyestone!
Desiree Linden (D'avila).
Dylan Jacobs, 2 time Foot Locker and NXN qualifier this year is the 3rd best from his HS.
