CIM is a complete farce, not a valid course.
Did you read the article where her coach said she is not too far from Dena's Master's record? That man is smoking on some thing! That course was all down hill and who runs 17 minutes in college for a 5k but at 39, divorced, mother of 3 and a full time nurse run 2:30 in a downhill marathon, with only natural talent and hard work. Also to add that she is taking online classes to finish her nursing Bachelor degree. What salad bar is she eating out of? Access to prescribe drugs? Perhaps? Maybe on some medical waiver by the USATF? Perhaps? All Natural? Questionable
Does the IAAF consider that course a world record eligible course? If not it is a false personal best.
Wondering if she will get drug tested for her performance. What would happen to her and her coach if she is in violation?

Which fits with what most people say about CIM, that the time ends up right about what you would expect for a flat marathon.
Figure 3 or 4 minutes for the course and 2 to 3 for weather when compared to Boston.
Also somebody asked if CIM is records eligible for IAAF, and the answer is "no." Neither is Boston.
Can someone post the links to her previous race results and, the link to CIM results. I'm UK based and don't know where to look.
