It's a vertical jumps/throws/multi's position is what I have heard.
He's actually gone
So is the guy unemployed or does he already have a coaching job somewhere else?
He needs to leave his ego at the doorstep when he heads into interviews.

On what grounds would McGregor be fired?
She is okay Coach and terrible recruiter. Please get the facts straight. If she lands Oregon or Texas....its not because of her years at Wake Forest. All the girls that had success under her were Brad Hunt recruits. FACTS!
Chewens has done a nice job of coaching during her career. Especially during her short time at Wake. I'm not sure what your coaching or recruiting credentials are, but I would say she has done a good job pushing Wake Forest in the right direction.
App State hires two head coaches. This doesn't work. Who controls scholarships, how are they divided, who controls the budget, etc. Every time a major DI football team names co-offensive coordinators, or co-defensive coordinators, they stop it after one year since it just won't work. At the end of the day, someone has to make the final decision. Just poor judgement on the AD's part.
Anyone following the sport on a collegiate level knows that he was milking the few good athletes that were already there that were already running very fast before him.
McGregor did not show the capability to develop athletes, just maintain their top notch ones. Their top female made her big jump under Ondrasek, knocking something like 15 seconds off of her 1500 PR in one year. The French guy was running fast his freshman year, and actually never improved his 5,000m PR from his freshman year under a different coach all the way through his graduation this year under Pat. So considering he couldn't top his freshman 5,000 PR under him, and failed to develop his American born male athletes, it's tough to make a case that he is a true up and coming coach with a unique capability of cultivating talent.
But, on the positive side, I would say the guy does love the sport, and has a passion for being involved. If anyone can provide some real clarity on whether he left, and has another position actually lined up or not, that would be appreciated.

You’re correct I agree with what you’re saying especially on the cross country front. But i also have to agree with the other poster about her not doing the best job recruiting. She may need more time there to recruit, but I do also agree that her work at wake isn’t enough yet for her to land at a Texas or Oregon. Usually that’s for people with 8-10 years of proven success and some podium xc team finishes. But I honestly don’t know the wake coach very well just looked at numbers like the other guy.
No way is the wake coach going to Texas or Oregon. She might move but not coaching. She does coach Hunts recruits just like vanhoy coaches Gavin’s recruits. Texas women not as good as Texas men if vanhoy went to Texas he inherits a great group. But why not keep the current coach. Ole miss had one guy out of three make it to finals. Texas has two of the three make finals and both are young. Seems crazy I feel bad for everyone involved

That’s why my son hasn’t gotten an email in the last few weeks. Layne used to send 3-4 generic emails per week about the team, school, and town and then there was nothing.
Jeff Fellers will be promoted from within for Aurora University Head Track.

Who is taking UVA? No one is talking about it at all? I am sure it is a female but which one? Speaking of women why would UNC hire Lockhart from OSU he only works with men. Now for interview purposes he would say he works with the women but they have a women’s only coach at OSU. OSU has like three distance coaches no one takes credit for the bad at OSU just the good. Let me know what is going on at UVA
