Wouldn't meeting with the team be some sort of NCAA violation. These offseason coaching changes are usually announced to the team through an email. In season moves are usually announced to the team during a team meeting. Some cowards will do in season moves through email.
Not a violation is it's a voluntary meeting.
Why would students voluntarily attend a meeting to find out their coach is canned?

The listing is for Hurdles, Horizontal Jumps & Multi's, so I guess Daniel Newell has left? Or are they expanding?
Pretty sure Harnden is being considered for HC at KY or ND. Can’t imagine he left UGA to assist the sprints at another school..

If he left for that reason its not "considered" it's "hired". The other reason he's out is he resigned or was not being offered another extension.
Dan is leaving the coaching world to pursuit a new career. Leaving of his own accord.
Blockburger out at USC. Caryl has that effect. Wonder where he is headed. Arkansas?

You want to work at Texas , it is up on the HR site
There are at least two alumni that would be a good fit for the UNC assistant coaching job. In no particular order I would think Ryan Walling or Matt Valeriani would be great for the program.

No. Just because you’re an alumni has nothing to do with coaching ability. Most of the top coaches in the NCAA are coaching somewhere they did not attend for their degree. Let this narrative go it holds our sport back so much

Don't forget that the current assistant, coach Roberts, is also an alum and would be a great fit for a new head coach.

No, we established he ran for Baylor and graduated from both Baylor and UNC, making him a UNC alum with strong ties to the school and program.
