And now a commercial break to get back to the topic of Job openings.
MO Western has started on campus interviews and I have heard NW MO has their finalists. Maryville filled by Vince Bingham.

Looks like Lindenwood will be hiring two coaches then.

Who will EF pursue for his staff at UT?
Are they any big name Head Coaches who might consider moving to Austin to work with their event areas for big $$$, and one last chance at an NCAA Championship?
Will this be the opportunity for EF to assemble and all-star, avengers type staff?
If so, who would that be? What events would he coach?
If you know EF you would know he doesn’t want an all-star staff, he wants grinders/yes men. They’re gonna do what he says no questions asked and will grind hard(just not as hard as him of course)
Yeah, I’ve heard similar complaints from former assistants. Apparently, he’s a hard man to work FOR (not “With”). That, coupled with the drama with administration, I dont think the grass will be greener at Texas...
You have absolutely no clue what you are talking about. Just this past year Todd Morgan brought in:
- Libby Davidson – 16 time state champion Virginia. 11 time All-American. Multiple time Footlocker cross country qualifier (placing 6th twice)
- Briana Gess – 17 time state champion in New Jersey. Multiple time All-American. Multiple time Footlocker cross country qualifier
- Gabriella Karas – 12 time state champion in Kentucky. Multiple time Footlocker cross country qualifier
And according to Virginia's press release Morgan signed Abigail Green (multiple time Footlocker cross country qualifier and multiple time Maryland state champion) and Japanese superstar Helena Lindsay for next year.
I think Morgan was "stocking the cubbards" quite well
Wrong! Flo will bring his staff from UK. He takes care of his staff and they will gladly join him at UT!

Yes yes he already has his yes men, so yes yes he will bring them... yes
So...Karras and Davidson were awful, Gess did not race. That ain’t great coaching. At least not this year. He only had a regional qualifier at 10k. Nothing else in women’s distance. That’s not acceptable for the expectations.
Those yes men are kicking Butt and making Bank! :-). Pretty sure they don’t care what ur milliniel clueless mind thinks. Ha.

This just opened up the biggest distance coach position in the NCAA!’

I find this very unlikely.
I’d take a dozen 10:30 girls and sprinkle in an occasional stud or two or a foreign ace and be a top 15 team every year at NCAA XC’s.
They are fully funded and give plenty of distance scholarships- no reason whatsoever to turn down a kid running those times especially for a partial scholarship. Full? Now that’s probably a matter of spending philosophy so I could see that but zero chance they wouldn’t toss a partial.
It sounds ridiculous doesn’t it? Her SAT score was well above UVA average as well. There was never talk about scholarships because they told her to get lost as they only look at 10:10 or better girls. I had a good laugh about it and told her that’s their way of saying they don’t care about distance, which is totally fair since it’s their program.

Lol at letting your wife be your supervisor
How did these ladies turn out? I am pretty sure Gess quit.
Hadsell to Oregon
UVA has Jason Dunn on staff already as the Director of Operations. He's the former head XC coach there with several NCAA qualifying teams (men's and women's), two ACC championships on the men's side, and multiple All-Americans. The job should be his if Fetzer wants to win.

Have you been hiding under a rock somewhere??! Flo took Kentucky from one of worst teams in Ncaa under Weber, to Ncaa runner-ups in a few years!!!! His men’s teams have been solid as well placing top 20 at Ncaa’s! Men take longer with 12.6 scholarships! One of the biggest turnarounds in Ncaa history! The guy earned the Texas Job without doubt!
I believe if you look closer, you’ll see that Kentucky had 4ish top-15 finishes on the men’s side in the previous 5 years before Flo... have his men matched that? No question that the women’s side is greatly improved...in part to the purchase of high value Clemson “stock” during the demise of that program. He then tried the “buy the coach to get the athletes” again with Petros, and it started the chain reaction that has since resulted in the elevation of UGA. Prior to the Clemson “buyout”, their recruiting classes were average at best, but that purchase got them going...and once they got moving, have done a great job. He’s a great coach, but he definitely doesn’t walk on water, or turn water to wine!
