Why Kentucky instead of Auburn?
That was my exact thought as well. Or Ken Harden, if he is indeed resigned from UGA
Auburn not open

What happened at Aurora?
Pure speculation, but maybe Farr went to La Crosse?
Well since today is going to be all about Texas. Who are list of candidates for Kentucky
My thoughts
Lonnie Greene - dir. Purdue
Erin Tucker- associate head Penn st.
Ken Harnden - assoc. head. UGA
Tonja B- Bailey - associate head Texas
Alan Turner - former director Notre Dame
I think the opening at Aurora is for head T&F, Farr is head XC. Sturman would be the one leaving

Actually any of the above names would do well at Kentucky.

Additionally, Pat Henry hasn't won a men's title since 2013 and hasn't won one outright since 2011 LSU hasn't won one since 2002. Their cross teams are also absolutely awful. Why should a Sprint coach be director they obviously cannot field full programs since their distance squads cant get points. (see how easy that is).
2017 Indoor didn't count? Sent two guys to XC nationals last year as well. Awful is relative.
William and Mary head women’s distance just posted. 50-60k a year.
I am assuming they’re looking for a female coach who has 5-7 years of experience at a power5 type of school

More importantly what does this mean for Tonja. ANd the rest of Longhorn staff ?
Tweet from Austin American-Statesman writer:
Tonja Buford-Bailey, who led UT on a interim basis after Mario Sategna's dismissal, tells the Statesman that she won't return. An ex-Olympic hurdler, Buford-Bailey was the head women's coach at Illinois before she took a job as an associate head coach at Texas in 2013
That is a fair point, I stand corrected. The Adams State track program solicits donations from its Alumni on the basis that it is not fully funded by the University. As to how successful those fund raising efforts are and/or have been, I have no basis to dispute “Grizzled”’s post.
Hearing that University of Washington is giving up on attracting a top outside coach and leaning toward promoting Jason Drake. Any insight into what he's likely to do with the program if this is true?
His bio is OK I guess:
You’re full of it. First of all, that’s not the school name. And second of all, no one has been called for an in person interview yet. Only phone interviews have been made. Stop trolling!

Waste of a hiring opportunity. If the program was under scrutiny for a toxic environment it's not a good idea to keep someone from the same event group around.
And I guess that would count me out since I don't have a vagina
