Why would Maynard go work at a school that has a terrible track record of taking care of their throws program and coaches... the guy can't be that desperate...

how so?
The Pope, thanks for taking the time to explain that.
Anybody hearing anything? Seems eerily quiet.
What is UCF doing ?
Aren't they going after Floreal from Kentucky?
Haven't taken care of their throws program or coaches? You mean like how they had a National Champion two years ago? You mean like how they have a good portion of their scholarship allotment in throws... like how they are consistently at the top or at least competitive in the Big West in throws. It's dumb to think Maynard is going there, because he's a former UCLA Head.. he's not going to be a mid major assistant ANYWHERE... But it's just as dumb to think that Riverside is a bad place for a good throws coach because they've always had high/developed high end talent.
No, Tonja at Texas made up a story about UCF calling her, not her AD, not her agent, but her....
Then someone on here said going after her, the best hurdle coach would be a great move
Then someone else on here said if they are going after "the best hurdle coach" then that is Floreal.
Then people, on here, started talking about Floreal.
So NO, they aren't going after Floreal
Why would a guy doing a great job at as a SEC head coach with both men's and women's and a great contract and a great team, go to a mid major, single gender school with nobody of note on the squad?
UCF head - Bev Kearney.
Iowa seeks vertical/multis coach
It would not be the first time something like this happened. You would be surprised at what money and nice weather can do.
A woman who sleeps with her athletes (multiple) and then threatens them and she is going to get a job like this.
FUCKING RIDICULOUS.
This better not be true.
Am I right in saying, she still has an on going lawsuit for racism and sexual inequality against Texas
Taking all that into account, despite her success at Texas, it would be a strange appointment
In any case, the official line is that Erin Gilreath is in charge and interim coaches will be put in place to presumably cover middle distance and sprints during the indoor and outdoor seasons.
A national search will begin in the early summer, when a better pool of candidates is available to choose from. This is the official line
UCR has never one a big west title
Why did Jeanette Bolden (and Johnny Gray) leave UCF?
Which is Why Maynard would never go there.. but they're competitive, especially in throws, so they'll attract a good coach. A good throws coach could make the difference in them winning Big West.

Intra-office dating

They didnt leave by choice. They were fired.
As a percentage, how many adults that either attend or work for UCF are dating another adult that attend or work for UCF? Why not tell their students they can't date other students at UCF either? How is it that in 2018 companies can tell their employees who they are allowed to be in an intimate relationship with? This is absurd. Oh by the way it looks like Iowa could use a jumps coach.

Can anyone who attended the convention confirm that a rule was passed to add 2 paid assistant coaches for combined staffs(1 per gender) and 1 paid assistants for single-gender programs?
