How 'bout you just let folks discuss the jobs and relevant topics they want on this thread? Seems like you need a timeout.

Heard UNM might be in for a change if the team cuts are coming as rumored by the athletics budget. Might shakeup Washington or Notre dame.
The UCF job is going to Dana Boone from Texas Tech
What does that mean for Bailey at Texas? Once again the posters on LR never mentioned the person who gets the job.
I agree, Good Hire
Will the rest of Coaches end up staying? March, and Gilreath ?? Hopefully, she cleans house
UCF is going to clean house, but they need to start higher.
This is common knowledge for the inner circles.
Like i said Dana Boone is at UCF. When the dust settles at UT (Administration redistribution) TBB will have the job if she wants it.
Lonnie Greene is headed to Auburn.
Robert Johnson will stay at Oregon. Same for Petros at GA and Floreal at Kentucky.
The real dark horse is who gets Washington and Notre Dame. The best way of finding out the real deal of these jobs is to eaves drop at NCAA during the meet or at the bars

Is Notre Dame that desirable of a job? Poor weather, subpar facilities (Compared to other power 5’s) High admission standards, little support from admin.
Agreed but I have seen coaches do special things with a lot less.
Which is why I wish these AD'S would take a chance on a newcomer with something to prove.
A lot of the names everyone keeps throwing out there are either comfortable or burnt out
Yes and UCF is such a powerhouse! Look at the UCF's seasons best and in most events. They couldn't even compete in the top half of NCAA DII! Especially in anything above the 400! This board is for all coaches and coaching openings in the country. Not just your DI powers and Texas and USC. I am not looking for a job I have one. Just trying to help with letting people know what jobs are open since that is what this board is for! I am a coach and just trying to help!
Anyone here anything about Luther? Have they started interviews yet?

You think maybe thats why they canned the previous regime for putting up d2 numbers? You really expect orlando to be a place to put up great numbers in 8,15,5k,and 10k? Come on man your D2 chip is showing. Remeber "You Choose D2."
Bailey? She will have a job in sprints but not at Texas if she does not get the head position. She is a major reason the team is in the state it is, she had to have it her way. Why if you are offered the job at Texas would you keep her after all the threads that have read been written . You want to be back stabbed ? The only seat she wants to sit in is the head seat.
Other than what I've heard directly from most involved....... I go by her resume not what I've read on here.
We've seen how reliable the predictions are. Why would the rumors be different?
Like I said Tonja's job if she wants it once the dust settles.
Just out of curiosity, but does anyone know of any opening for a Div 1 assistant or head coach that has a very good pedigree as a jumps coach (high, long, triple) but also pretty experienced with other field and shorter sprint events?
Kind of an 'asking for a friend' thing. My friends resume looks pretty extensive to me (coached at several Div 1 colleges, among several others) and he publishes a lot of stuff and gets cited by other coaches for his techniques, but for whatever reason is having trouble landing a job (is the coaching field really that hypercompetitive)?
Im an alum of Northwest Mo. It would take 250k for me to work in Maryville Mo. Let me know if that is the salary they r willing to offer that kind of money... I seriuosly doubt there pockets r that deep....
Why has he coached at several schools? Published means nothing. People citing his technique mean nothing. How are his athletes performing? championships? Does he drink beer with other coaches? These things are far more relevant.

Is your 'friend' producing winning results? A lot of coaches are publishing plenty of social media content, but don't seem to really be getting it done at the level they 'post' at.
