FYI Power 5 no longer is the correct term...it’s now the Power 6?

6? Do tell.
Is yush out at bama?
He’s referring to the American Conference AAC
Why would Yush leave Bama?

No he’s at Regionals
Lets talk about the list of potential names for the UW job..
Fox - Cuse Director
Smith - OK St. Director
Powells - Oregon Distance
If they wanna keep the current model of distance in charge are there any other big names in the mix for it?
Vig- Princeton
The Garys- Furman
Sullivan- UM

I cannot see Chris Fox leaving given the situation he's in.
Maybe Dave Smith has worn out his welcome at OSU and jumps ship, but he's also in a good spot.
If the Powell's want to run their own show, maybe, but otherwise, why would you leave the top distance job in the country? I can't see it.
Maybe Ihmels would be interested? It makes sense for UW to stick with the distance model given location/talent pool, but is that a forgone conclusion given how competitive distance is in the Pac-12?
Is there a successful alum out there somewhere that might be a fit?

To follow up on these three:
Could DEFINITELY see Vig applying.
The Gary's might be intrigued, but they are in an ideal situation at Furman. Don't see it.

If they stay with Distance Head
Vig, i don't think would leave the East coast
Dave Smith - has history in the PNW
Outsiders I'd look at
Bonsey - Georgetown
Hakon DeV - Kentucky (former Pac-12 athlete)
HELEN LEHMAN-WINTERS San Fran head coach
Matt Roe - Butler
Rhonda Riley - Duke
James Li - Arizona ( former Washington st coach)
Anyone know the new NCAA rules for contact and official visits for HS juniors? Also, has the early signing date been changed? Thanks.

No he’s not. Don’t start making up rumors for no reason. These people have families.

I mean no disrespect, but this is not the thread for your question. Please find or start another.

I have not seen anything on UNC, Hawaii officially yet.
Washington (Director)
Notre Dame (Director)
James Madison (Director)
Northern Arizona (Sprints)
Findlay (Jumps)
Findlay (Distance)
Appalachian State (Director)
SELA (Not sure what)
UIC (Director)
Central Florida (Director)
Eastern Illinois (Director)
Texas (Director)
Oakland (Sprints?)
Eastern Kentucky (Director)
LSU (Throws)
Anyone know who some of the finialist are for these Director/Head jobs?
Only person on that list that isn't laughable is Helen Lehman-Winters, who should be a top candidate.
Everyone else is a joke. Maybe Dave Smith, but OSU has fallen off, UW should get someone on the rise.

I haven’t seen the Norte Dame job posted anywhere?
Very quiet at regionals. Where are the rumors and movement?
