Findlay distance has been filled. Not sure who yet, but other applicants have been notified of the position getting filled.

But word on the street is he misses the east & those kind of kids & a faith based setting...[/quote]
Sounds to me that he is tired of getting his ass handed to him by other teams in his conference.

What's the story here, poor team performance can't be it. There has to be something deeper for the firing

Vanhoy to UNC is funny, he is posting Vanhoy to UNC as he wants back in the Carolina Blue. He is alum but everyone he recruits is SEC material, different game here in CH
What is the latest at Northwest MO State? Heard Lorek is about to be released.
what is the latest on A&M replacing Francique?

I’m not sure someone mentioned KD earlier. this has to posing a serious question. Is the division I hiring coaches that are already division I coaches? Meaning, is It just a circulation of the same people? Seems like theirs a lot of volunteers or GAs that are trying to get in and not a lot of guys getting out? Am I correct?
Not exactly true, but any Power 5 opening will almost always be filled by a current experienced DI coach.

For the record, I was posting as "The Pope" with proper capitalization several pages back...this new poster is not me. Not that I'm insulted...imitation is the highest form of flattery after all (I wouldn't mind holding on to my handle though...?). However, I already have a pretty good idea what is going on at Notre Dame & I'm not gossiping here...best of luck to that staff & their families...
Maybe I am clueless, but don't have any idea what was going on at ND. Care to share? All I know is what I read from the article about the coach's record and it trails off after he was not able to live on someone else's recruits. Come on, tell what you think? ND is seemingly a pretty high caliber job...maybe not in the SEC or something, but still pretty high on the track/xc food chain.

Not a rumor. Ad wants new blood to run program and they will also be allowed to get their own staff. Coaches have already been contacted for the job.

William & Mary has a sprint position and women’s distance position open
