Thought about your question. Thought about who are good PV coaches IMHO. None of them are young! Too hard to tell if a young person will end up being a good coach or not, too difficult to collect data on when there aren't enough results yet, and too hard to know everyone around the country who has not been in the game for that long. So then I thought about some vault guys that I think are good, and none of them are especially young, besides just one. They are just good. Bryan Compton, Arkansas Derek Miles, South Dakota Sean Brady, Texas A&M Dennis Mitchell, Akron Brian Porter, Ole Miss Here are a couple of others that don't have the big school or D-I names behind them but seem to be very good vault coaches: Roger Haynes, Monmouth College Tim Winder, North Central College I am sure there are plenty more out there.
