Yep sure does.

I was REALLY looking forward to working with the female candidate that was interviewed. The whole team was even the ones that asked to be transferred reconsidered when Coach Hicks was interviewed. Our voices were not heard.
The athletic department really gave us their butt to kiss making us think we had a say. Then telling us they are looking for the best candidate when really they were looking for another Andy smh anyways I’m outta here - middle part
From what I'm hearing Cale got the job and he's bringing Atkins with him.

No it doesn’t.
What an utter shame.

Atkins returns to Kennesaw
I don't know any coach involved so I will not comment on McDaniel but I honestly think of KSU being a step down from WCU.
What prompted this move...substantial pay increase?...proximity to Atlanta? Historically I felt WCU was a better program and in a better conference and western North Carolina is a nicer place to live.
Big pay increase. Better place for athletes on a national level.
I don’t know who all of these athletes thought they were going to get. A little wake up call. You go to Kennesaw State University.
So with this last hiring by KSU, does this put a close to the 2018 college coaching thread? Is there any other positions still on the table?
No. Several jobs will open after XC season.

No because I heard WCU has an open position.

We should continue to use this thread until 2018 is over, then consider making a thread titled “2019 College Track & Field open coaching positions discussions”.
Texas State could also swing another job open. Who are they hiring by the way?
I heard they want to keep it in the Catamount family... winning tradition & someone who knows how WCU works & the community....
Names that have been floating around today were....
Jesse Norman - UNC-Asheville (been there a long time has not done much but is a WCU Grad)
Adam Puett - UNC-Asheville (Jesse's assistant ... been there a while hasn't done much... WCU Grad)
Josey Weaver - East Carolina (He has turned around ECU's XC Teams in 2 short years but WCU is a Sprint school... WCU Grad)
Jonny Bomar - Wofford (Been there a while, but hasn't done much with very little funding... WCU Grad)
David Price - East Carolina (This is not happening - keeping it 100) WCU Grad
Josh Langley - Oklahoma State (Would be a great hire.... doubt he would leave his gold mine) WCU Grad
Harlis Meaders - UNC Chapel Hill .... (He cant get the job done at UNC so maybe he will look for a new job... (he started his coaching career at WCU. )
Thoughts on the above?
How many coaches are on staff? They show 8 or 9. Also who left and where are they going?
