You do realize our sport doesn’t hire based on merit, theirs literally no system in place to ensure quality deserving candidates get the position. So whether it’s hiring your best friend, your wife, only hiring males, only hiring females, hiring a former Athlete, etc. It’s doesn’t matter because at the end of the day it’s all the same trickery. Name a coach in the Country that isn’t guilty of doing this? I’ll wait...
