Syracuse still has a hire to make, correct? As does UNC and Pitt. Have they made their selection and they're just waiting for paperwork to go through?
In the Pitt release it mentioned that Herbster was going to coach men and women. They may end up getting him an assistant, but I wouldn't be surprised if they let him do it all by himself like he did at Texas.
I guess this should go in the 2019 thread, but no one made it yet.
Air Force has been decided. No idea who though.
No word on that hire. I believe they conducted a few phone interviews but nothing yet for Bama.
Guilford's hire.

NAU Throws announcement????!! What is the hold up Mikey?? It’s bad enough you have to hire young un proven coaches over elite level coaches who have put the work in since you worry about controlling the staff little fella. Make a freaking decision for early signing period at Least Junior.
You sound like a total dbag
Any big jobs still open? Bama?

Haha seriously. Who is this guy? “Elite level coaches” already have their jobs buddy. And they aren’t going to NAU when they know the funding will be distance heavy. I’m guessing you’re an old geezer that hasn’t gotten his shot yet. Newsflash... just because you’ve participated in the profession longer than someone else does not make you “elite”. It actually could mean that you suck and no one wants to hire you.
Is Northridge really hiring a new head coach at this time of year
If you had read, last spring Northridges AD was terminated for fighting with the basketball coach. So they have not had any leadership in department. All coaches are on temporary contracts although they should become permanent by Christmas. The bigger question is how long before Boogie gets in trouble with his big mouth and arrogant attitude and gets fired.

When you read the bio of Angela on Saginaw Valley you think: “pretty impressive...” then you actually look at the times and think: “wow, knowbody has run very fast.”
UNLV actually has a couple very talented middle distance runners- would be sad if they didn’t achieve success because they didn’t get a coach that had experience with that level of athlete...

Also, I should say Brock from CSUN is in the same boat adopting a pretty cruddy UNO team but they recently acquired a 2:05 international girl. I don’t think he’s ever coached a sub 2:12 girl.

These coaches have a lot to prove but should do fine.
Waiting on a Sac State announcement. Should finally be coming any day now.
