Who is going to take over KU horizontals? Coach Pate did a great job but the cupboard looks pretty bare
or maybe both assistant coaches who are heading to Notre Dame were in trouble at their former schools? Or in the case of the New mexico assistant with the men's program being slashed to almost nothing and they publicly saying one coaching position had to be cut, got out of there before the bottom fell out. New Mexico's men's program took a huge hit and can only keep about 20 people. No way to run a program.
Doesn’t KSU have Ryan Hershberger on staff to step into throws position? Seems like a natural fit after head throws guy moves to LSU. KSU alum and excellent athlete. If not him, why is he on staff?
Hershberger? wrote:

They threw him a bone. They have him in back pocket in case they cant get a better hire.
How do you do a great job if when you step away the cupboard is bare??? Let’s be honest he coached one good jumper and she left him for her high school coach after college.
Great job Northwest you got rid of a stalker and hired a vault coach and from what I’ve heard he is going to hire his wife who has never coached and a distance guy who’s best men’s cross team wouldn’t sniff making nationals on the women’s side. Good luck.
He is 100% hiring his wife as his assistant. Such a waste for the new facility they are making.. I heard he left UCCS because he felt the athletes didnt respect him as a co head and they all went to the other fuy over him. Northwest blew this hire. They should have hired the guy from southwest.
hopefully not
who illinois state got to fill throws?
Who’s Arizona State and Tennessee hiring as sprint coach?

Have you ever been to SLO? I wouldn't want to leave either.
This is now 100% confirmed. She is off the website. Wow. Will Jason Dunn coach the women too now?
WAIT - WHY did this happen??? How does someone move clear across the country only to double back on the first day???? What on earth happened??????? Did her background check not go through????
Herbster to lead Tennessee sprints...announcement at 2
Your both incorrect. Herbster will be announced as the new cross country coach for Concordia in Moorhead, MN. Stay tune!
What’s the rumor on Bama? Heard interviews have been conducted and a couple people were on campus last week.
who did uncw hire as head?
Has New Orleans hired a head?
The rumor earlier on the board was that one of their volunteer assistant coaches was getting it or maybe a finalist?? Not sure if that’s true or not, but assuming Alabama could do better with a likely big pay day to turn program around on women’s side. I heard through the grapevine that they did interview a distance coach from the MAC pretty extensively though but not sure if he was a finalist on-campus though. That’s only name I heard. I would assume it’s likely that they want a coach who has and will recruit Kenyans like Waters has done with some success. Could be a big hire or a big flop... The men’s program had a really year, but the women’s program needs some help from distance to be a factor in the track. Seems like they had a good recruiting class on women’s side for sprint/Jumps too.
heard from a good source that Bama is doing on-campus interviews now. It is believed that they are interviewing women for the position as that is what the university wants.
Makes sense based on their staff make-up
