Congrats Jordan! Great hire for BW!
Memphis is a way to a destination for Assistant coaches. It’s not a destination. Like most places.

If you aren't a recent grad woman with no experience then you did not get it. They've already done interviews.
This is the growing trend. My gf Just graduated from college and wasn’t an athlete and we joke that she would have a good shot at landing a college xc coaching gig. Funny reality.
In fact the same was true for men 30-50 years ago. Women are just making up for lost time. So suck it up Butter Cup. ?

I don’t think the guy was complaining just stating the obvious. Personally, I wouldn’t pay attention to that trend, it’s actually a good thing if you really think about it. I would want your gf without any athletic experience to coach in my conference. Weasel is saying suck it up buttercup and that’s the wrong response, of course the qualify of coaches are declining fast but that is the game for now at least.
What's going on at St. Thomas? Did Jolivette get another job?
Who does coach hill report to at bw? The director of cross country and track is also an assistant track coach. Weird set up.

Barton is looking for mid dist/distance...the Asst there is the sprint coach

The previous head coach was a speed/power based guy. The assistant a former distance runner for the program. They need a sprint guy.
Tim Hall is at Kentucky, best in the business and a lethal combo with the new Head Coach

This is true but they are also hiring another assistant. They posted two positions. He is one and the other is still open. Probably will go to a woman since the staff is all men.

This is incorrect. The original poster is referring to the D2 in NC not the JUCO
That makes sense, I'm sure it's going to be a homerun since that's the theme here right now.
