98 Sprints hurdles coaches in power 5. (A few TBD currently).
24 are head coaches, 17 are associate head coaches, 41 are coaches and 16 more just assistants to a main coach (LSU, Kentucky, Tennessee etc.)
Only 3 programs in P5 truly have 3 sprints hurdles positions; USC, LSU and Texas A&M. Kentucky did but now with new head coach? Texas did but no longer and maybe you can count South Carolina....
Within all 98 sprints hurdles coaches we have 15 minority females, 3 non-minority females, 59 minority males and 21 non minority males.
Within the 24 head coaches that are also sprint hurdle coaches we have 2 minority females, 1 non minority female, 8 non minority male heads (3 with < 25 years experience) 13 minority male head coaches (6 with < 25 years experience). Out of the 17 associate head coaches there are 2 minority females, 1 non minority and 12 minority men, 2 non minority..
Average experience of assistants 9 years, actually coaches fully in charge of event groups/training etc., 14 years, associate head coaches 20 and head coaches 29. Including, Pat Henry and Curtis Frye at 45 years and the lower experience head coaches Joey Woody Iowa 14 years, Avery Anderson UCLA 18 years.
