I use the word successful for lack of a better term. What I mean is, someone who is clearly not as capable, smart, athletic, driven, etc as you. Doesn't have to be all of the above, but you know what I mean. Some people just do more in life than others, like one person is an MD and the other works in retail (extreme example).
I bring it up because I currently have two women in my life, one of which I am more attracted to in a lot of ways and who is probably a better person, but the other one is definitely more "on my level," a true equal, someone who challenges me just as much as I challenge her. The former is a beautiful and sweet human being, but she does not live life at my speed, nor can I have deep intellectual discussions with her. I and pretty much all my friends have graduate or professional degrees, whereas she has a bachelor's degree in sociology. She's not dumb; just not really like many of the other people I spend a lot of time around. I'm not sure I care about those things or not though. The older I get the more I think I care about kindness and empathy in a woman.
Older guys have any advice?
