The progression posted by Hayseed is a progression of speed. That is why I was wondering about his progression of extension for various race distances. To be sure, the progression posted, if accomplished without injury or staleness, would result in tremendous aerobic power gains. I'd like to see how he uses those gains with his race paces stuff.
Again if you're adapting Canova you should be emphasizing both a progression of speed and a progression of extension. I'm starting to think this thread isn't about Canova training.
