I owe right at 50K on my house. My interest rate is so low I now struggle to exceed my standard deduction and I like the piece of mind of having my house paid off. That being said someone made the argument to buy bitcoin...at least 2-3 shares. My 401K and SEP is great, I have an otherwise diversified portfolio. I know there are a million other things will get suggested, I'm specifically asking if you had the cash, would you buy bitcoin?
No I would buy Litecoin, or other great main coins that are not as high( in price) as bitcoin. You would spend less and still make a lot of money
Ethereum is at about 400 a coin right not
Litecoin is at 100.oo a coin right now ( and rising)
ADA which was created by the guy who created Ethereum is at 0.16 cents a coin
IOTA, a group that is in collaboration with Microsoft to start a coin exchange is at about 1.40 a coin and is getting heavy traffic.
Those coins have good development and projects, and are rising. Take advantage of their low prices right now, because they are going to be very high in a year or 2.
So you can pay off your house and still invest in crptocoins.
