Felt great at the start. I was running with the top 5 at 1 mile then started fading, still in top 10 at 2 mile, ended up 15th. I would of won if I ran my best but wasnt too disappointed since I did a hard workout yesterday.

I thought I could win, but I got edged out because they made me start at the back because I ate a bagel before the race.
That's tough! I almost started at the back because I was wearing the race tee, but I ditched it at the last second and went all skins to start on the front line.
I did a hard hilly 20km run, because you see, I am a runner.
First road race since July. Not quite in race shape, but embarrassed many a hobby jogger and I didn't even run on "Pure Hate".
MUGA
obviously, we all won them. after all, the people who post here are elite.
Led through 5.5 miles but faded a bit and finished second. I finished back about 4-5 seconds, close enough to hear the champ yell GOBBLE GOBBLE MOTHERFCKERS!
I was DEVASTATED!

I started several minutes after everyone else then on the first bend I hopped in an RV and drove around to near the finish, rejoined the race and won. Next year I will do the most turkey trots in one day ever and I am looking for sponsorship please.
Champion sweat pants from Kohls, my moms mittens she knitted, 4 bottle water belt, 4 GU's, headphones cranking Adele and crushed it with a 39 flat 5K
Chilled off the leader for about the first mile came through in about 5:20. He died and I ended up running alone for the last 2 miles. I ended up winning by 50 seconds in 16:48. Then I went to the track and went 10x300 in 55 with 100 walk recovery
I won the local turkey trot 5K in 16:16. First K was 3:09, 2nd was 3:27( quite a hill), 3rd and 4th K was 3:17, and the last K was in 3:06.
I didn't come first, but I finished my first 5k marathon today and got a really sweet medal to prove it. Also managed to finish in under 45 minutes. All of that makes me as much of a winner as the guy who came first. No different, same awesome feeling of winning.
No chance of winning today...heck, every AG I enter...it gets more competitive. But then again, I have no one to blame since I haven’t taken training too seriously the last couple years b/c of life situations. Just having a goal to run and doing the best I can is good enough for me.
Happy Turkey Day!!?

I can't tell if this is serious or not because nothing about that is impressive
Didn't win but got 6th with 18:18 5k. Coming into the race the last time I ran more than 2 miles was in July so I wasn't really sure of what to expect.

The absolute state of registered LRC posters
Finished 30 out of 209 in the 50-54 women’s age division. At the Silicon Valley Turkey Trot. Good enough for alcohol and pie!
Won same race from last year. 2 year streak now! Get ready for more dolla dolla bills and twerking!
Race went out slow, made a move on mile 2 and had a big enough gap to hold up the "#1 sign" before the finishing chute. D-bag extraordinaire.
I am an idiot hobby jogger worthy of your scorn. However, I am NOT the guy in the chute who stands motionless looking back toward the finish line.

And, need I tell you, I make over $400,000/year, run sub-14:00 for 5K, and am married to a supermodel.
