Yes. A concensus is developing that having children is immoral. In the future parents will be considered evil people. Anyone thinking about having children should take that into account.
I could have just said an "older relative" rather than an elderly one, but caregivers are still a crapshoot and not having kids is no guarantee you'll be able to afford high priced ones or that they won't be a crapshoot too. But I don't think having someone look after you on your old age figures really high on people's reasons for having kids. I think most guys do it because their wives tell them to.

You could be a sperm donor and pass on your genes to hundreds of kids without ever having to take the time to actually raise a kid, so simply passing on your personal DNA isn't a good reason to have a kid of your own.

Another and rather more imperative reason for we Europeans of course, is to safeguard and preserve the white European races.
As it is now, in no country in Europe are the indigenous population producing enough children to even maintain their current levels and have gone into population decline.
Meanwhile the huge mass of immigrants, flooding into Europe, mainly Muslin, produce an average of around 4-5 children with the inevitable short and long term consequences.
Well before 2100, Europe will be come part of the worldwide Islamic Caliphate, a situation I’m sure that the United States will find somewhat problematic to say the least.

I wish I knew the answer, I have four children, two of them have successfully emigrated to one of our Commonwealth countries and I’m hoping the other two will as well.
I understand even the white American population is declining also.
What will the USA be like in 2100 if white Americans follow down our European path?

Being a donor does not mean you will be selected.

I love how no one ever does what the OP asks.
There are better reasons to have kid than these. What about so that you can enjoy life now? But here would be my ranking of the ones you chose:

I have visited other facilities and witnessed both terrible treatment and excellent care and respect. Sometimes in the same building.
So have faith - we are out there.

I'm not sure people usually have "reasons" for having children in the sense you are talking about. It's not usually a rational decision making process where people weigh the costs and benefits.
Life exists to reproduce itself. It's true of bacteria, trees, and people. People are built to want to have children in the same way we are built to enjoy eating. People might say that they want to eat for a rational reason like nourishment being necessary for their continued survival, but really people just enjoy eating because that's the way we're built.
Many/most people want to have children because that's the way living things are built. The kinds of reasons you give are really just make-weight things that people tell themselves.
