6 cups coffee
3 beers
6 cups coffee
3 beers
3-5 coffees
no beer
-1-3 coffees, depending on my activities.
- I'm an odd "binge" drinker in the sense that I will get in the mood to drink for 3-4 days in a row (not a huge amount, maybe close to a liter of wine per night) once or twice a year, and then nothing for months. I drank about 4 shots of Bailey's last night, after not drinking a drop of anything since July.
I make a pot and keep refilling my cup when it gets about 1/2 way down. 0 booze and a gram of girl scout cookies.

All in one go, like the crazy YouTube vid makers?
3 espressi in the morning.
Between 1 and 3 beers in the evening.
My Achilles tendons hate me as much as I hate you for opening this thread :)
Median: 1 cup of coffee, 2 beers
Average: 1.67 cups of coffee, 2.75 beers
3-5 cups of coffee, all before noon
2 glasses of wine or one beer with dinner (maybe a little more on weekends:)
Had 5 espresso shots before a HM today, fvcked up my stomach during the race. Going back to my usual 3 before a race.
On a normal day I have anywhere from 2 to 7.
I just recently quit coffee during the week. I’ve only ever really drank alcohol on weekends. So now my average consumption is 1-2 cups of coffee a week and 1-2 drinks a week. The odd thing is I’m pretty passionate about My love of coffee my love of beer and whisky, the problem is I don’t enjoy how too much of any of them make me feel after. It has felt like as I get older moderation seems like less and less of all three.

I find drip coffee easier to drink first thing in the morning and espresso easier to drink in the afternoon. I try to quit before 2PM for quality sleep. Espresso is more concentrated and seems to dehydrate more but I could be wrong.
Two cups of organic coffee in the morning, one good pour of Italian, Spanish, or Greek red wine with or just after dinner... generally speaking.
No alcohol ?
5-6 cups of coffee a day ?
Caffeine pills before most workouts ?
That's why my friends call me "Caffeine Charlie." ?
The Choking Cougars take in 0 cups coffee, 0 alcohol. What does that say about this sport and coffee’s role in it?

I usually drink espresso rather than drip before races cause it helps me poop. Drip not as much.

Caffeine dehydrates because it stimulates your need to urinate.
Caffeine being hydrophilic, the effect of an espresso shot is less potent than a cup of drip.
Consider also that any espresso lover needs a glass of water next to his shot and draw your own conclusion.
As for the poop matter, espresso did use to work flawlessly for me in conjunction with another bad habit that I've got ridden of. No such effect on its own for me.
Typically 2-4 cups of coffee spread out through the day.
No booze.
8 cups of coffee a day.
3 or 4 beers at night trying to relax after 10 hrs of construction work.
Several cigarettes throughout the day.
A few stogies on weekends.

I've heard mixed studies on this. That drinking coffee doesn't actually dehydrate you.
Drinking caffeine-containing beverages as part of a normal lifestyle doesn't cause fluid loss in excess of the volume ingested. While caffeinated drinks may have a mild diuretic effect — meaning that they may cause the need to urinate — they don't appear to increase the risk of dehydration.
