All the complaining is why we are always behind, I'm tired of the crying and whining about other people being better. You lazy f*cks just want everything handed to you, freaking earn it

This was a bit of an anomally year on the women's side. Yeah, kinda crazy. However, I do think the dominance of foreign runners is a little overstated. On the men's side, only 3 out of 20 scorers on the four trophy teams are not Americans. This hardly amounts to a foreign invasion.

When you give a scholarship to a foreign runner then you are taking one away from an American runner. Of course the topAmerican high schoolers get schollys, but we have a lot of untapped potential here.
I still can't understand how universities here can go and recruit and give out all the schollys to foreigners.
+1
Because they are selfish pigs! They want to win at any cost.
"America Last" is the new slogan.
Mark Wetmore was correct.
I would say that happened in 1980 when the first American male finished 7th and there were 8 foreigners in the top-10 and 13 of the top-20.
Oh, and the word you wanted was "implication".

Didn't UTEP score 15 points at Natty's with a completely foreign team?
19 in 1982, I believe.
It was in 1981 and that year 15 of the top-20 were foreign.
Scharsu was the first American in 6th. The year before he was first American in 7th.
Do you watch the Olympics or World Championships? Are they unwatchable?
Limit scholarships to tuition only and the problem would be solved. Not many foreign nationals would compete if it actually cost them any money.

If you think the NCAA is tough, wait till you're working for a large corporation (if you do).
The idea that h1b visas don't surpress domestic wages needs to be debunked. Obama isnt in office anymore so we got cover to pursue reality a bit.
Are you trying to say that nobody made this point while Obama was in office? I know you Trumpies are out of touch with reality, but c'mon, people have been loudly making this claim for years.
Look at the reverse scenario.
Would other countries allow this to happen? Foreigners dominating a sport in their own country?
Bro ... ever review the late 1970s through the mid 1980s in the NCAA track/XC ..?
Write to your congressperson and maybe they can slip through some scholarship/immigration restrictions into the next tax bill, but seriously, if you don't like the way things are run, try to figure out how to change them. According to the NCAA website:
"Members adopt bylaws governing Division I through two legislative processes. These two systems are referred to as Autonomy and Council Governance."
"Division I recently redesigned its governing system to create a structure that is more nimble and streamlined and to be more responsive to membership needs. / Members adopt bylaws governing Division I through two legislative processes. These two systems are referred to as Autonomy and Council Governance. Both processes includes input from presidents and chancellors, directors of athletics, athletics administrators, coaches, faculty representatives, conference personnel and student-athletes from Division I schools and conferences." Maybe these are the people to complain to plus any companies that sponsor college running.
