Hi LetsRun, a more serious post than what LetsRun is used to IMO. I am a freshman in a college at a pretty big program for track and cross country (I run on the team), as well as academics. Going into college I kept dating my girlfriend from high school even though she was going to a different college four hours way from me. At first, the first few weeks were hard but we made it work, but all of a sudden it got really difficult. We both were really busy and we just weren't clicking anymore like we used to and I could tell I was losing her as well as getting into minor arguments, etc. Before you comment that she is a slut, whore, etc., this girl is a really really nice girl and means well. She broke up with me eventually about a month into college because it was just too hard on her, and said she wanted to remain friends and stay in contact. Being pretty upset at the time I said I did not want to do that but I still texted her here and there because I still had feelings. We both happened to be home one weekend for fall break and we met up and had dinner together and ended up hooking up in my house, and it went extremely well. From the time I picked her up it was like we hadn't even broken up or been apart and the conversation flowed really smoothly like it used to. She said she would see me thanksgiving break (which is basically now) and then I texted her once or twice between then (when we hung out), and now but we really haven't spoken at all. I am in a lot better spot than where I was and I lost a good amount of emotional feelings towards her (if not all), but I really still like her a little and want to see her. My question for you guys is what do you make out of this situation, and should I wait for her to text me to hangout this break (since she broke up with me), or should I text her? Also, has anyone else been in this situation with their ex, similar stories? Thanks guys, really appreciate the insight.
