A big half marathon race I was interested in is all sold out (3 months prior to race). Frankly i don't care for the shirt, medal, drinks or post meal that the race provides. I'm very tempted to enter the race illegally simply for the sake of competing and going to a PR. I'll be somewhere in the back like top 50-100. How is banditing viewed especially when sign up is closed? Anyone have stories about doing such a thing?
If you're a social media whore and run in a jogbra, then it's ok. But you have to sexually harass men too.

Yes, it’s bad. You’re taking for free something that everyone else paid for and that, for legitimate reasons (capacity), the vendor won’t sell to you—that’s stealing. But you’re not taking anything of value, you say? Then great—you shouldn’t have any trouble running somewhere else that day. That’ll be just as valuable to you.

It’s even worse if the race is already sold out. That means there will not be a lot of room on the road and the available resources will be exhausted (porta potties)
