Happens every time I read LRC on my iphone using Safari. Completely locks my screen. Pain in the butt. I don't have ad blocker installed, but I am looking for something.

ffs brojos!
Ad blocker successfully installed. Didn’t want to do it but that pop over window wouldn’t let me do anything other than close safari. And it was popping up every second time I opened LRC main forum.

Wake up turkeyjos.
YEs this used to happen to me all the time. So frustrating. I’ve only seen on one other site. I think it’s when they use a dodgy ad company. This problem has gone away for me since I installed an adblocker. I have a new iPhone so that’s not the issue. I can’t believe we are being asked to turn off adblocker when this site has some of the worst ads borderline viruses.

I'd say that roughly 50-75% of the time I try to access the message boards on my phone, I'm redirected to some scam page. Anyone else?
I am using an outdated IPhone (4s), but even so...
I eat the fish
https://youtu.be/ZyBa3cYx6ZYThis thread is now a week old with no response. Either they don't care....or they do care but only because they make money off the scam at your expense. They'd rather make money off the scam link than maintain customer loyalty off their own weak content. That would take work.
All I want for thanksgiving is for this to stop happening
AND SO BEGINS WINNERGATE, brojos conspiracy to rake in that ad money

I tried to politely direct him to this thread in the new thread you are mentioning. We'll see what happens, I guess.
Not sure why he would ignore it; they generally have taken the time in the past to respond to issues regarding ad problems. I've seen it. They've even started threads asking for people to let them know about problems. I know they deserve their fair share of criticism but totally ignoring something like this for a week does seem a little off.

Don’t be naive, we all know exactly what’s going on here.

Not being naive, I can see what's going on here, for sure. I'm just a little surprised and disappointed as they actually have responded to intrusive ad concerns many times in the past.
Ads are annoying as hell. Sure it makes hem money but it will drive people off the site

Maybe they recently bought into Eyeo GmbH (AdBlock parent company) and want to see it gain more value.
