I've been sick of this jerk for a long, long time. Karma is a beotch. Time for a resignation.

Weird, I started a thread about this a half hour ago and it was deleted.
Anyway, since the Dems woke up to the fact Bill Clinton was a scumbag yesterday, time to see if they're going to be consistent. Will you call for Franken to resign?
Except his hands aren’t actually touching her in this photo.
Is there a photo of him actually gropping her? Hopefully while not wearing a Kevlar vest. Shouldn’t he be grabbing her by the pvssy like Trump instructed Americans to do?
Watch though - a comedian hamming it up in front of the camera with a playboy model is going to be the Trump supporter equivalent of a guy in his 30’s going after teenagers.

"He repeated that actors really need to rehearse everything and that we must practice the kiss. I said ‘OK’ so he would stop badgering me. We did the line leading up to the kiss and then he came at me, put his hand on the back of my head, mashed his lips against mine and aggressively stuck his tongue in my mouth.
I immediately pushed him away with both of my hands against his chest and told him if he ever did that to me again I wouldn’t be so nice about it the next time.
I walked away. All I could think about was getting to a bathroom as fast as possible to rinse the taste of him out of my mouth.
I felt disgusted and violated."

LMAO is this part of the 'Correct the Record' message test?
"This woman appeared twice in a Playboy magazine (at the time of the event her only image in Playboy was clothed) and our guy is a comedian making a joke! Clearly taking sexually themed photos with her sleeping body is no big deal! She was practically asking for it!"
Mental gymnastics are going to be amazing on this one. Just throw him under the bus and be done with it guys.
It was a skit and she was part of it.
It's a joke. He was a comedian back then.
Plus, he's not even touching her.
You guys have sunk to a new low.
Honestly I am really surprised that the "Good Ol' Boys" clubs of the world haven't started hitting really hard on the idea of "This is just how things were back then, our culture has evolved and we know better now"
The way things are going you would assume that hundreds of them still have potential accusers in the wings that could reveal similar across the board conduct. You would expect powerful people to be hunkering down on this by now.

If you read the article you would know this wasn't part of the skit and was instead a sexual photo he took with her while she was sleeping AFTER she had rejected his advances.
Do you really think it is acceptable to take any sort of sexual photo with someone who would not consent to it?
I'm in Minnesota, and voted for Franken a few years back. He may not have been a Senator yet at the time this happened, but he was elected less than two years later, and had already published at least one of his political books. He surely knew at this time that he would be trying to run for the Senate seat. So never mind the fact that people shouldn't mime groping or force kisses at any time in any context, but to do that stuff when he knew he had political aspirations shows a pretty big lapse in judgment.
In the same way that I'm certain that there are more woman out there who have stories about Roy Moore, I suspect there are probably more for Franken as well. I could be wrong on either man/both men, but I doubt it. As for the consequences, I suspect that at worst, Franken won't be able to run for re-election. I've only lived in Minnesota for less than a decade, but I think I know enough about the people here to confidently say the voters will primary him if he tries to run again.
I'd wager it's about 50/50 whether he resigns or not. Myself, I think he should just get it over with and resign, and since victims are now more empowered than ever, I suspect we're in the midst of a house-cleaning process among our elected politicians. Expect more Congressmen to be wrapped up in scandals in the coming weeks and months. And for God's sake, don't vote for people like Franken, or Moore, or anyone else after these stories come to light. If you want sex-pests out of Congress, well, you can play a role in that.
I wonder what the other side of the story is.

That's a sexual photo? Her nude photos all over the internet are sexual, this was a bad joke, but, it sounds like the entire comedic act for the troops was full of similarly themed bad jokes. Why do you think she was chosen to go on the tour (along with cheerleaders from the Dallas Cowboys)? I bet the troops were mostly interested in discussing Jean-Paul Sartre with her - really get into the notion of death consciousness and how it awakens us to what is really important. Not boobs. Guys aren't interested in boobs.
"I certainly don't remember the rehearsal for the skit in the same way, but I send my sincerest apologies to Leeann," Franken said. "As to the photo, it was clearly intended to be funny but wasn't. I shouldn't have done it."
Case Closed. Let's move on.

Not sure how someone could outdo good ol Bill's antics...
She was a Playboy bunny. They were going to be in a USO skit where Franken was going to kiss her. Franken was in his mid 50s at the time and is a funny looking guy who is 5'6". He is not the kind of guy you would expect to be getting it on with a Playboy bunny. So, it seems like the big gag was supposed to be Franken and the Playboy bunny kissing passionately. Thus, Franken would want to rehearse that so she would know how to play it up. She has admitted that the skits they did for the troops were filled with sexual innuendo aimed at the predominantly male young soldiers in the audience. Then, the photo does not show him actually touching her breasts. He is just pretending. She makes a big assumption based on that photo.
Then, there is the timing and her attempts to get a foot in the door at Fox News as a conservative commentator. She has been on Hannity a couple times, but ended up on daytime TV in LA. And the allegation is coming just as more and more women are piling on accusations against Roy Moore.
Sixteen women have accused Trump of sexually harassing them. Trump's response is that they are all lying and it is "fake news". So, if Trump gets to be president, Al Franken certainly gets to be a Senator.
Franken has apologized but says he does not recall the rehearsal the same way. If the person who took the picture comes forward and says that Franken actually grabbed her breasts and was not pretending, then he should resign. But so should the President.

That's way repubs voted for Trump. His poosey grabbing wasn't sex or molestation or fondling because the women were wearing clothes--it doesn't count.
Franken is a double-dipper. He's both a Hollyweird-type AND a politician.
Anyone know if he was a CEO? He'd then have the trifecta of dirty, power-grabber sexual assaulters.

True--Dems like me need to own Clinton. Yes.
Also true about Franken.
