I've been training for the coming chevron marathon on Jan 14th. So far all was good. I did a half marathon and noticed my right hip and my knee start bothering me but I finished. My goal is just be able to complete the full and I don't pay attention to my pace just how comfortable I feel running. Half happened on Oct the 29th. Rest in full for 2 days and felt good so continued my training. I got the Hal Higdon novice plan since this will be my first marathon. When I was doing 7 miles it bothered me more so I stop running for the next 5 days. Yesterday I resumed and on mile 2 bothered me a little again. It feels like a sartorious strain but I can do it all. Strength, biking, swimming, etc without discomfort. I don't want to ruin my chances to make it to the marathon so I will see my PT today. Regardless my age which certainly is an important factor I do a lot of strength so my issue is not related with weakness plus I am a barefoot runner. My feet, and lower legs are stronger than ever and my form is good. Feels like I do any effort running and after every run I don't even feel tired. All my running is on the roads since marathon is too. I thank you in advance for your opinions and advices. :)
