All that crap about it being easier to make the Kenyan team than the US team, I believe, is an attempt to massage the American psyche and to atone for his earlier mistake of asserting that pre-Kenyan-filled-ADP American runners were not hard-core and that he and his cohort had ushered in a new era of American runners.
Dude just needs to chill and leverage his soldier experience and the fact that he really is one of the best Americans in history instead of trying so hard to lick everyone's balls. Doesn't need to try it. Because people can see when you're trying so hard to make them like you. Especially when you make such ridiculous claims as "I can make the Kenyan team anytime". LOL dude never made the Kenyan team for a major senior championship. Stop lying to Cheserek man. If he comes back home he will never see the light of day in Kasarani or Nyayo, where people like Kwemoi have no problem ripping off a 3:30 at altitude after 3 days of championship-style racing. People tear each other down at these championships. It's carnage like you've never seen it.
