Jenkins, Fisher or Hill? Maybe Curtin or Kincaid. I think it will be Jenkins or Fisher.

Fisher was born in Canada
But, it’ll be Jenkins either way
Youre right, my bad!
I believe Ben True is the closest with a 13:02 PR. I wish more people would treat non championship years as time to go after some PRs
Grant Fisher competes for the US, is American
I know he is not American born but that is a stupid question to ask imo, if someone has lived here his whole life what advantage does ha have from being born in the next country over?

I dunno about you, but when Paul Chelimo inevitably breaks 13:00 for the 5K, I'll care about as much as I'd care if any other Kenyan-born runner did it. Being born in this country definitely adds a flair.
Paul Chelimo
Fisher is still American born you US centric fools! So was Salazar by the way.
Ping kid will do it next year.
Joey DeFeo.

German Fernandez. You heard it here first.

Paul Chelimo's son.
Then you'll have to rephrase the question..... How you gonna do that?

Agree - He's from Michigan, that's what matters.
Fisher has one of the best progressions of any athlete I've seen - he just keeps getting better and better. I think he'll break 13, but not till at least 2020. Jenkins will do it in 2018 though. No Worlds/Olys means fast times.
Why is this in the high school section?
No American high schooler will break 13
Canada is in North America.

Then the answer is Justyn Knight.
four years ago one of the jos thought Ben Saarel would be the guy.
not paying off yet
"Late on Saturday night, when I finally got home after a long day that included 8.5 hours at the cold and windy meet, and a 3.5 hour trip home, I fired up my laptop and went to the LetsRun.com messageboard to see what the fan buzz was on the 2013 adidas Grand Prix.
I saw a messageboard thread that read as follows: “Ben True — The next U.S. sub 13?“
In my tiredness, I saw Ben and just assumed the the next word was Saarel.
And I thought, “Yes, I think he’ll he’ll do that.”
