There is definitely something in these shoes - I bought a pair last week and I have never felt anything like it. Amazing.
People are gonna question the durability etc. But I reckon to run as fast as you are able these are the bomb.
How long before Adidas and the rest respond with something similar I wonder?
Really? Sad to think shoes are what make you achieve your potential. and if this shoe is as great as they say, then its sad that New York gets won in 2:10 and Chicago in 2:09. That means the sport is in decline and the pros are substantially slower than they were in the 1980's. Steve Jones would have ran 2:03 if he owned a pair in 1984.

I gotta say, I'm pretty unimpressed with Nike artificially restricting the supply of these shoes to generate buzz. If they're really about helping athletes perform their best, then they would actually sell the dang shoes.
There was a pair for sale on ebay here in England.
I saw several people wearing these at the NYC Marathon. If my limited area in the corral where I saw these is typical then many hundreds of runners were wearing these. There couldn't be that much of a restricted supply.
These shoes need to be banned ASAP.

They have quite a heel on them, particularly for racing. How do they differ from Hoka One One, which also has quite a heel.
I found the Hoka quite clunky and not responsive.
I have heard people rave about the Nike Vaporfly 4%, but no one has put that rave into definitive words AKA an actual description of their performance.
Opinions anyone?

I say that unless you can run sub 7 minute miles for whatever distance you are racing, you have no business in these shoes.
