RRR gonna go giblets to the wall in his turkey trot!
Definitely got some serious mojo emanating from this thread. Do not want to drop the baton.

Well, this morning I measured out the 5 K for the first annual U.s. embassy Turkey Trot here in Pristina Kosovo. I did a 12 miler yesterday and my hamstrings were feeling a bit tight when I pushed the pace below 7 min/mile for two miles in the middle of the run. It’s been three weeks since the marathon so I guess I am not 100 percent recovered. Today felt fine at easy pace. I will take off tomorrow and and tuesday/wed do some easy miles with some striders and then see what I can do on Thursday. Saturday I fly to DC and Sunday I am signed up for a 10 miler trail race in Virginia. Maybe a bit ambitious, but what the hell, I will give it a go!
Finally got a chance to post. It has been a busy week.
Big congrats to R4F and Laughlin! That is a big PR, R4F. Nice job, Laughlin. I think you will go under 17 soon.
So, should I do a turkey trot this week? Getting over a cold/cough, and ran a recoovery week of 40 miles this week.
