Well, I have been sitting on something very interesting, and potentially very explosive. Let's cut to the chase, shall we. A runner in my community made a big announcement, to do something which has never been done before. A high mileage run daily for a very extended period of time. He did it! (almost) and was all over the media, which was given.
However, recently I was analyzing some of his runs from his Garmin activity (this is not public yet, he only shared Strava) and found it suspect. I am basically putting this post to get more eyes on this and hear some opinions on what is happening here with his run data.
The GOOD runs:

Consistent pace and cadence data as I would expect. This run pattern was found only in the initial few days of the challenge.
The BAD runs:

Glaring issues. Low pace at high cadence. High pace at low cadence. What's this guy doing when at high pace at low cadence? Cycling? I don't have a clue on this. This run pattern repeats for most of the days. There's some good cadence phase, and lots of suspect cadence phase in each of those runs which follow this pattern.
So guys, what's your take on this? What do you think this guy is doing? Cycling? Driving on some vehicle while moving his arms to build up cadence data? Is this low cadence (about 120) something which cyclists see when they bike? His high/regular cadence seems to be a good 170-180 range. How is it possible to get a high pace at this low cadence, which I would associate otherwise with walking slowly, which is definitely not the case here as seen in the graph.
