Can't seem to find stocked versions of the adidas boston boost anywhere. Have they been discontinued?

I sure hope not! If so I am about to buy several pair.
I just went to the adidas website and couldn't find them. From the webstite it looks like they are starting to push the "pureboost" line. Depending on the model it's 8.6, 9, or 10.5oz, 8mm drop, but they put a knitted upper (hopefully not stretchy), and the outsole looks like it will wear much quicker than the boston.
There was another post about this recently. Some guy said he called runningwarehouse and they said they are expecting a big shipment early 2017 of the Boston 6. No word of Boston 7.
The Pure Boost has had really a lot of bad press out there, as the poor sibling of the Ultra & Energy Boost ... the DPR "city" shoe is new and save some weight but those five eyelets wont be able to keep that shoe in place...
I would be surprised if they yank the Boston, which is a great shoe and they sell loads, but it is really too close to the Adios... If one doesnt mind to add few grams the Tempo is a better bet than the Pure which in its latest version (the 9) is for all purposes a neutral shoe now....
According to this, the Boston Boost was Running Warehouse's 7th top selling men's shoe in fall 2017. That doesn't seem like a shoe you would want to discontinue.

I don’t think so. Just bought one from an Adidas brand store in Paris last week.

The Hoka Tracer, Vaporfly 4%, Boston Boosts and the Zantes are probably the only 4 shoes most will ever need to own.

It's actually quite different from the Adios, at least for me. The Boston I can use everyday, the Adios is not enough shoe (though I could probably get used to wearing it for every run).
The thing is, the running warehouse market shares might not be representative of the overall market, I suspect it's biased towards more competitive runners. In any case, I hope they don't discontinue them.
This would be a travesty. Pretty much best shoe ever. Almost all the fast runners in my area train in this shoe. If any Adididas reps on this site can put this rumor to rest it would be much appreciated.
In terms of cushioning yes for sure. Weight-wise they are very close - i know few guys who just train and race with Adios.
But I have just noticed that Adidas is now pushing the "primeknit" version of the Adios in addition to the regular one. Just wondering is this has something to do with it....
Never seen black and purple before...

Likely a popular shoe bridging between production runs of new colors rather than discontinued? I hope?
While they are similar in weight, the Adios lack the forefoot cushioning of the Bostons. Thus, they end up being a drastically different shoe. I hate that Adidas is dumping the takumi line in the US (which is a racing flat that is lighter AND has much more forefoot cushion than the Adios) and offering its Adios as the serious performance shoe. The Bostons are amazing lightweight daily trainers, and are suitable for racing marathons, too. I'd hate to see them go, as between the Bostons and the Takumi flats, that would pretty much end my Adidas purchases.

Agreed! The Boston is the only Adidas shoe I would ever consider buying. I've been through 4 pairs and have another pair in the box.
Sorry to bump an old thread, but anyone have any updated info on this? I still don't see anything about an adidas Boston 7 online so I am starting to fear the worst.

It is a good shoe so of course Adidas will discontinue it.
The casual wear market is about 10,000 times larger than the 'real runner' market for a given shoe. Boost is WAY more valuable to Adidas as a lifestyle element, than for people to run, or even to have a world record element. They might continue to make shoes for a Dennis, but for you? Improvise with the bargain basement lifestyle version you'll find at Kohl's. Let talentless music executives wear the midsole you desire.

Runningwarehouse said early 2017. Hang tight.

But I want new shoes now, not early 2017! Besides looking for Boston boost, I'm looking for Adios boost 3 (not primeknit, aktiv, ltd, or etc.). Where are all of the shoes?

At least Boston 6's are coming out in new color ways. The adios 3/adios boost look like they are being phased out on adidas.com so maybe the Adios update is dropping soon
