Carleton Men's first leg doomed their team.
Surprised Mueller went so hard with 1200 to go, wouldn't have been good for their team if Dodge had continued to drift and get 3rd.

10k- scoring positions serm to be about expected, glad to see PT pick up some points. Tremayne had an amazing close, 10.8k and I think the man could have gotten second.
800 - Kozlowski missed finals...inexperience or just burned out? He appeared to split really well in that 4x800 to coast UST to the win. I personally was surprised by Wahlstedt.
1500 - first heat was pedestrian as expected with only Wachter trying to go early, but that made the second heat guys run quicker...the likes of Ryan Garrett (??? who) are able to make finals from a 26/28 seed. Should be a fun race for our top 4 fellas.
4x800 - overall pretty fun to watch. I did not expect UST to throw Wachter on the relay. Probably their difference maker. STO blew it on the final lap by dropping to 4th, Donson looked pretty good thru his leg too. Wilkinson didn’t look fantastic here...

St. Mary WiFi Saga Update:
While attempting to purchase routers to for WIFI connectivity, St. Mary’s officials accidentally purchased 4-Slot toasters. Project currently haulted.

As the dust is settling I say the results speak for themselves and answer some of our obvious questions we've all had in the back of our minds such as:
- - - "Will Kathleen finally get her long awaited championship in the 10000?"
- - - "Can Sonsalla and Mathison still be dominant in a secondary event?"
- - - "By how much will Bethel women win the 4x4?"
But I want to hear what you think:
- - - Who was the most valuable athlete to her team?
- - - Who had the biggest flop?
- - - Who's performance surprised you most?
But keeping our eyes on the future:
- - - "Can Ali, Meg, and Annika qualify together like they did indoor in the mile next week?"
- - - "Will All American Meg even try in to qualify in the 1500m, or just try for the 3000S?"
- - - "How many points will UST women earn at NCAAs (+/-7)?"
- - - "Which team will represent the MIAC best in Lacrosse?"
- - - "Who is the biggest MIAC darkhorse going into Last Chance week?"
Was anyone else disappointed by the distance events?
800: Krogman raced like he just wanted 3rd. Hatton could have pushed the pace early and gassed DCG but didn't have the initiative. Joey did, which made zero sense on his part.
1500: Cool that Wachter beat the Oles. This was the best distance race. Lamb should have stuck with the front.
5000: LAME! Props to Mayne Train though.
10000: SAD! Perfect weather, still dogged it through 5k.
3000SC: would have liked to see Rosenau and O'Hare go at it. Maybe in another universe that was an awesome race to watch. Wilkinson let fatigue get in his head, lost his chance to win.
4x800. Good runs by UST and Concordia. Everyone else rolled over for Carleton in the middle of that race, except St Olaf, who waited until the last leg to get pwned.
There weren't no BATTLES. No fast times. No really big upsets. UGH.

800: Not as fast as last year but still had Donson and Hatton go sub 1:53. I would say it was a battle until the end though most everyone knew Donson would pull it out. Respect JoeyCG for his bold start and solid 4th place finish.
1500: Times similar to last year with a nice battle for 2nd/3rd/4th. Kevin Lamb with big PR and kick for 6th.
5k: So much faster than last years times (11 guys sub 15:30 compared to 3 last year). Proud of Keith for being the only senior in the top 12(!)... He had a decent weekend going 4th in both 1500 and 5k.
10k: Also faster than last year by a long shot. Predictable result with Mueller/Dodge going 1-2 but still fun to watch. Proud of PT for scoring a few points.
Steeple: Much better than last year's sit and kick. Fast times and kinda an upset? Parker broke away and held on to beat Matt. Also strong PR for Rasmussen to beat O'Hare and get 4th.
4x8: Not nearly as good as last year's race but fun to watch Concordia place 3rd.
MVP: DCG or Mueller
The People's MVP: Tremayne. Not one thought he could get 3rd in both 5k and 10k.
No offense but my friend Grant would have SMOKED Mueller.

okay bud. not interested yet. 90% of the page will be talk about if Carleton will score under 25 points or not, Who has great recruits supposedly coming to your team, and talking about MSHSL State champs in three weeks.
Some of us still care about the meets to come in THIS season.
IDK if this black mitch guy is a washup trying to make the MIAC just seem weaker, or if he's just salty about not qualifying in the 1500 because "it was totally rigged this year", but he obviously didn't watch the same distance races that the rest of us did.
That 800 was a battle for the ages. That's the closest we've seen anyone to beating DCG in the 8. An honest race, three lead changes, great kicks. what more could you ask for in a championship race?
3000SC was also entertaining albeit no water barrier failures. nice to see Wilkinson go down even with his kick, but the rest of the podium was also filled with pleasant surprises.
5k/10k was made by Tremaine.
