Oddly enough, I have seen several fat women who do ultras, however you don't normally see fat men doing ultras. I'm not really sure how this stuff works.
You just go slower.

Pics first , answers much later .
They're basically just racing from aid station to aid station because they're so intent on snacking.
True that. I've seen Sri Chimony race. Goodness. Pathetically slow. You can't even walk that slow. There are couch with 7-11 like snack bar. They circle maybe .35 miles and come back to sit and snack.
Oh they call hiking 100 miles a race, that's cute.
JW is really skinny and rarely completes his 100 mile races.
It's not "binge eating" it's "refueling"!
Just curious. What's your idea of fat?
One of the guys I run with is attracted to skinny women. I'll define that as 5' 5'' 100lbs. I prefer women with some female flesh.
5'5" 135lbs isn't too heavy if she's well-proportioned.
Of course personality is definitely what's most important. That almost goes without saying. Who wants to be with a woman you can't talk and/or laugh with?
I know a group of guys who have done a truly impressive amount of 5ks, however they are all fat as well.
I just watched a guy run 100miles in 13 hours...wasn't fat.

Most likely because they carbo-load all the time, have chronic high insulin levels, are insulin resistant and can't lose weight due to the elevated insulin levels.

So how come Kenyans with a high carb diet are skinny.
Ultra runners are more likely to follow some low carb fad diet as they are trying to increase fat burning.
The real reason is they do ultras but their training mileage is lower than a lot of us do when training for 5km

This. I got into it with someone who told a friend of mine. "If doing 65miles a week you should. you running marathons and ultras". These people don't understand training and think if the race is longer that means it's harder.

Fat. But stronger than you. How many ultras you done bro? Exactly....sssshhhhhh.
135 lbs isn't even close to fat for a 5'5 gal
at 5'5 your not fat until you weigh over 150,
at 5'10 your not fat until you weigh over 175.

For a female runner 135 lbs at 5'5 is obese.
