Just wondering if anyone can give me some guidance in when to retire shoes. I’m a heavy guy at around 95kg. I’ve typically gotten 300-400k out of lighter shoes like Kinvara’s or NB Zante’s. At that point the cushioning and support are both shot, and I can feel it on the run.
I’m now going on 700k on a pair of Adidas Supernova Glide Boost and they seem to be going strong. Is this typical? I know that TPU deteriorates differently than EVA. Is there something else that I should use as an indicator that the shoes are done?
