Hey I want to run the 400m next summer and was wondering what a tough but realistic time target would be.
I ran 400 in 68seconds the other day (with 0 exercise in years, 6'1, 15stone 5 /215 pounds so pretty out of shape, but will be close to 12 stone when competing next summer).
Ran it in 59seconds when i was 15 (with no specific training but was skinny and generally fit then) and I'm 21 now.
What would a realistic target time be with a good 6-9 months training/weight loss etc,? Don't want to set my sights crazy high but still ambitious anyways.
