I just finished my senior xc regular season with an ok race at the Utah State meet. If I race to my best potential at nxr, I may individually qualify for nxn, however I have no idea how to keep myself primed and ready to race a month after state. Ive taken the rest of the week after state (on a Wednesday) and have done only a couple miles each day for solid recovery since state took it out of me pretty hard. I plan on starting up a more normal mileage again in a little bit. (I held 70 from late June-late September so I think I’ll get to 60ish for a couple week then taper again....) does this sound good or is there a better way to go about this?
