How much do you think Kipchoge it worth? There isn't much on the internet on how much hes worth or how much he makes. Its safe to assume hes a millionaire, but that could be 2 million, or 20 million, or 200 million.

I really wish they would make the money- contract, appearance, prize, bonus- public. It would help the sportś popularity and credibility with the average fan.
I can´t imagine, considering what his money means in Kenyan worth, how much he has been able to invest.
It really could be in the multi millions.

If anything, it would destroy running sports credibility. Because then everyone would see how much less they earn than the stars from other sports.
He received 120,000€ (almost $140,000) for today: 50,000 for the world record, 40,000 for winning the race and a 30,000 time bonus (can't post the link to the German news website that reported this because I'm not registered and right now (after running the Berlin marathon myself) too lazy to register. You can google FAZ (the German newspaper where I found the info) Kipchoge, weltrekord (German for world record); google translate will also help). Nothing compared to NFL, NBA or European soccer stars, of course...

I'd his net worth is about 34 goats, 16 head of cattle, 45 chickens, and, just now, a BMW i3s.
He must have made way more than this in appearance fees. Geb used to receive about 280K Euros just in appearance fees.
After paying bribes to the IAAF, low six figures.
I'm really curious about this question. Given what is said about his quiet lifestyle I wonder if he could be getting more in appearance fees? Who is his agent?
Also it's real tough that Rupp & Centro probably make a lot more than him? And my guess is that Hasay + Bowerman all make more than Hassan. Kipchoge is starting to get into the social media scene more and more through his own channels, through NN, and through Nike. Hopefully that helps him out.
My guess is he is worth ~8-12 million before today's race. More now.

That's the money from the race itself? He probably also has incentives in his Nike contract for setting the world record, running such and such a time, etc. May have been hundreds of thousands of dollars?
He's probably worth almost as much as the average letsrun member, he is a little faster but his wife probably isn't as hot.
The big sums for him don’t come from the races but from commercials (Nike etc)

I mean, sort of. Kipchoge is the best, so of course I hope he is paid like the best. But even if he's not, running is about winning and setting records. Money is cool, but all of these top elites have more than enough.
