No. Not many can, but if you work hard it's possible.
yeah a highschooler with years of improvement ahead could maybe not in 2 years but it is possible. even probable if they work hard some people have to work more than others but they defiantly can

Depends on how much they run during the summer and how serious they are with their training. If you run a good amount of mileage during the summer and have a good coach/training plan then its definantly possible.
14! after a couple xc runs with school and a meet I dropped from 32min to 25 :)

Up until around 20 you can drop a lot of time by just running more. After that, speed work will get you down to 19. Soccer for example, if you play soccer just doing that could give you the extra speed you need. After that, you better start busting out the 45-55 mpw to get to sub 17. At least that's what it was like for me.
