oh-oh-phelia
Ireland? Your diagram has England, Scotland, Portugal (including the Azores), Spain, and France also in the crosshairs. Why pick Ireland?
Ireland isn't in the UK.
You need to brush up on your map skills....what is left next to England at the 8 am Monday line?? Iceland?
Too bad it won't be a hurricane by the time it hits Ireland. Nice try though.
Ireland's been hit before, even in the 1960's. Ain't the first time.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hurricane_Debbie_(1961)

The Republic of Ireland isn’t, but Northern Ireland is.

But you are giving the OP too much credit if you think (s)he knew that....
I hope U2 isn’t going to be hanging around Ireland at that time. 😎
I'm taking it full on, laddies...hiking to the top of the Skelligs in just a red Speedo, with just a jug of potcheen. Bring it Mammy Nature.

Yep! Don't let the map fool you, even Nor'easters have a center of low pressure and can have hurricane-force winds. Go to the NHC website and read up on Ophelia.
Sure it'll be a fine soft day on Monday, the only hurricane day: outlook 65 F, rain and wind for 6 hours with gusts to 69.
No big deal. I'll be down to McCarthys Bar in Castletownbere, to weather the storm. (Im in the Royal National Lifeboat Institution).
Cheers.
Stay safe guys.
