Hello LRC, first time poster here. My concerns are is my success in my current xc season going to really help get me to my goals for this upcoming indoor and outdoor season? I am a 17:07 5k runner and have stayed consistent around 17:00s, worst being 17:41. My best last year was 19:00, and i was very inconsistent, 19s, 20s, and even a 21. But track season, 2:02 (relay split), 2:05 (open), and 4:42 1600m. I stayed consistent around 2:05-6 all year and ran low 4:50s and high 4:40s. With this new found strength and efficiency, what could i hope for in clearly my strongest events? My goals are 1:58 for the 800m, and 4:25 for 1600m, and even close to sub 10 in the 3200m.
