This will be fast, see Zane is listed. I wonder if they can drag him through to a 2:08 time, they have him listed at about 2:10 on seeding. See Bram Som is listed.
Going to need an online link to watch this one. If someone can post one it would be great.
Rupp would finish outside of top 10 in Amsterdam ... hahaha!
I think it may be streamed live on the race website.

Wow, this is Zane's marathon debut which is exciting. I was wondering when the Robertson twin's would debut in the marathon. It's supposed to be a fast course-his goal is to go sub 2:07 His HM PR is 59:47 which is 43 seconds faster than Rupp's PR (not sure what the course/field/conditions were like for each race). Zane is only 27, so if he can stay healthy/consistent and keep building, he may do some great things over the coming 5+ years. Let's see if he is satisfied to be the fastest white guy or if he really wants to be the best in the world!

Right now I think the other one, Jake, may be in better shape/more potential 2:06/7.
NBC Gold has it starting at 3 AM EDT. Ouch.
You can't order the right weather...
Given the current forecast with glaring sun and close to 70 degree temps in latter stages of race, I see it playing out this way. 15 guys hit 1:02 +/- at the half, and 14 guys completely blow up between miles 16-24. One guy ends up finishing in 2:07:30.
Only 4 guys under 2:10.

What makes you think that? Ezekiel Chebii ran 2:06:07 for 5th last year in Amsterdam and Rupp kicked his ass at Chicago.
Yeah it's going to be hot, but what are the temps for the Dubai Marathon ? Abera and Wasihun did pretty well there in 2016 !
Is it the first time that Amos Kipruto is running outside of Korea ?
BTW is there a good site to see all the races elite athletes have participated it ? Found
http://www.all-athletics.com/node/1081142
(for Amos Kipruto) but you need to be a subscriber to see the details of the races they entered in a given year.

I think its similar temps but in Dubai the start time is 6:30AM !! Sunrise is 7:04am
Amsterdam starts at 9:30am. Sunrise 8:06am. Big difference in sun exposure
Funny how people always forget the weather as the major factor in a race.
The reason Ryan Hall ran just under 2:05 in Boston and then ran 2:06 in London is because the temp was about 45 degrees both times.
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
Running for Bowerman Track Club used to be cool now its embarrassing
Hats off to my dad. He just ran a 1:42 Half Marathon and turns 75 in 2 months!
