Ok here is the nitty gritty:
Trained for Chicago Marathon - I definitely ran more miles and harder than I ever have in training.
1.5 weeks before I noticed when I lifted my right leg up there was a huge lump stick out of my hip right where the femur and pelvis meet. Thought it might be bursitis but it doesn't hurt. I ran the marathon no problem with the hip at all and still have no pain. There does seem to be a little hitch when I walk or run when my leg moves from flexed to straight.
My right leg is shorter than my left if that make a difference.
Went to the doc today they made me get an x-ray, bloodwork and then referred me to a Ortho.
The lump is about the size of half a baseball stuck under my skin.
Anyone ever experience this?
