Is that a cadence of 204 on a long run? Ridiculous.
I noticed she had water breaks in between. Aren't they for hobby joggers?
Not just water breaks but it seems she stopped and caffeined up during the run. From 5-17 she ran roughly the same pace but her HR increased a lot, no doubt some of it due to the espresso.
What app or technology was she using to get this information?
Polar M430
Look up cardiac drift
Seems like a decent advertisement to me.

Look up Tokyo Drift. Your time will be better spent with that than learning about prolonged exercise, environmental temperatures, and its relation to blood viscosity. Stop overthinking; and just run.
Who cares. She is washed up. Can't compete on the track, not very good at the marathon. It's all about JORDAN HASAY now.

It's not cardiac drift when you drink espresso during a run.

Cadence is based on inseam, speed and mechanics.
204 is normal for a woman at her speed.
There are no thoughts to express my words.
I only use a simple stop watch

It was max cadence.

Ah good point. Not a 'normal' cadence.

More likely b/c it was a progression run.

What? Hasay and Huddle both have finished third in every single world marathon major they've ever run.
The only thing that surprises me about the run is she didn't have a husband or coach hand her the drinks, etc. How long was the break? The thing I hated most about long runs was trying to figure out a way to get water without stopping. It would take me half a night to drive around town and hide water bottles on my run and then I was always afraid some homeless guy was going to pee in them and put them back.
Easily solved, Looped courses. Like the approx 10-mile loop around Newport Beach's Back Bay. Water fountains at Mile 3 and 5, and a water bottle in your car at Mile 0/Mile 10.

Not homeless. Just other runners who didn't like you.
