Today I ran a 5k that my gym organized
I’m 35, 6’2 205 lbs
I primarily lift weights and signed up on a whim
I ran 20:55
The only time I previously ran was In high school and college as conditioning for wrestling (state champ x2 and diii all American)
Some people seemed to think my time was good considering I don’t run. I had a lot of fun and would like to run again but now that I’ve had my first taste I’d like to prepare better next time
I feel like I’m a naturally decent athlete. What should I do for my next 5k and what would be a finishing time goal?
